Sample Itinerary
Day 1 Depart for your overnight stay. Check-in to your hotel and relax. Dinner tonight is on your own.
Day 2 Good Morning! Breakfast is on your own. After breakfast, checkout and depart for your overnight stay in Iowa. *NOTE* Upon entering Iowa remember to set your watches back one hour. Check in and relax. Dinner is included this evening.
Day 3 Continental breakfast is served. Checkout and depart for SIOUX FALLS, SD. Stop for lunch on your own today. Arrive for your overnight stay. Check in and relax. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 4 Continental breakfast is served. Checkout and depart for RAPID CITY, SD. En route, stop for a visit to the COURT HOUSE MUSEUM. Stop for lunch on your own today. *NOTE* En route to Rapid City you are entering the Mountain Time zone. Remember to set your watches back another hour. Stop on your way to Rapid City at WALL DRUG where you can get a GLASS OF ICE WATER and take a look around the world famous museum and shops. Arrive in Rapid City, and check-in. Enjoy dinner tonight at FT. HAYS where you will visit the DANCES WITH WOLVES FILM SET.
Day 5 Continental breakfast is served. Meet your guide at the hotel and depart for your tour of the SOUTHERN BLACKHILLS. Visit the RUSHMORE-BORGLUM STORY MUSEUM in KEYSTONE. You will experience the thrilling story of the making of MOUNT RUSHMORE. Lunch is on your own at MOUNT RUSHMORE. You will have time for a quick stop at CRAZY HORSE for a picture. Then tour the WILDLIFE LOOP ROAD in CUSTER STATE PARK on your way back to the hotel. Dinner is served.
Day 6 Continental breakfast is served. Depart for the NORTHERN BLACK HILLS. Start off traveling scenic DINOSAUR HILL and SKYLINE DRIVE. Next, drive to KEYSTONE where you will have lunch on your own. Drive through LEAD before spending some time in DEADWOOD. At this time you can gamble or explore on your own. Dinner is served.
Day 7 Continental breakfast is served. Depart for your trip back to SIOUX FALLS, SD. En route, drive through the BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK. Stop for lunch on your own today. *NOTE* Remember to set your watches ahead an hour en route to Sioux Falls. Stop for a visit to CORN PALACE, located in Mitchell, SD. Continue on to Sioux Falls. Arrive at your hotel and check-in and relax. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 8 Continental breakfast is served. Checkout and depart for your overnight stay in Iowa. Stop for lunch on your own today. Arrive at your hotel and check in and relax. Dinner is served.
Day 9 Good Morning! Continental breakfast is served. After breakfast depart for your overnight stay en route home. *NOTE* Remember to set your watches one hour ahead after departing Iowa. Check-in to your hotel and relax. Dinner tonight is on your own.
Day 10 Breakfast is on your own today. Check-out and depart for your safe trip home.
